McKenzie Method Rolls, Supports & Books

McKenzie Method lumbar rolls, cervical rolls and self-treatment books support the spine in sitting and teach patients to manage their own back and neck pain. The Original McKenzie Lumbar Roll and Cervical Roll maintain lordosis in car seats, office chairs and while sleeping, and pair with the Treat Your Own Back and Treat Your Own Neck titles by Robin McKenzie. Belts and braces such as the SI-LOC Support Belt and Wrist Restore extend the same self-management approach to the pelvis and wrist.

FAQs

Rehab questions, answered

Who is OPTP?
OPTP is a US rehabilitation and fitness products company and publisher founded in 1977 that supplies physiotherapists, chiropractors, athletic trainers and movement professionals. Its best-known products are the Original Stretch Out Strap, the PRO-ROLLER and AXIS foam rollers and the Original McKenzie Method rolls and supports. Lanson Group distributes the OPTP range to UK trade accounts.
What does Lanson Group supply in rehab and physiotherapy?
Foam rollers and myofascial release tools, stretching straps, McKenzie Method rolls, supports and self-treatment books, TheraBand resistance bands, loops, tubing and dispenser packs, Pilates and posture equipment, and clinic consumables such as moist heat packs and massage balls.
Can the public buy from this site?
No. Lanson Group is a trade distributor. Anyone can read the product information here, but pricing and ordering are available only to approved trade accounts such as clinics, physiotherapists, chiropractors, sports clubs, gyms and resellers.
Which foam roller density should a clinic choose?
Super Soft and Soft PRO-ROLLERs for sensitive, older or early-rehabilitation patients; PRO-ROLLER Standard as a general clinic roller; silver AXIS for a moderate general-issue option; black AXIS for athletes who want firm pressure.
What makes the Stretch Out Strap different from a belt or towel?
Its sewn loops give fixed hand and foot positions, so a stretch can be measured, repeated and progressed loop by loop. A towel or plain belt slips and cannot be graded.
How do TheraBand colours progress?
From lightest to heaviest: tan, yellow, red, green, blue, black, silver, gold. Progression is by moving up a colour at a consistent band length, not by shortening the band.
Do you supply bulk and dispenser formats for departments?
Yes. Bands come in clinic rolls, pre-cut dispensing packs and bulk dispenser boxes, and books and straps can be quoted in multipacks for services that issue them at volume.
How do I open a trade account?
Apply through the trade application form on this site. Applications are reviewed by our team, and approved accounts then see trade pricing and can order online.
